Bento taught us that caring is a collective act.

Bento was a Shar Pei who reached the end of his life without a home — but surrounded by 29 people who organized so he would not spend his last days alone.

Each took on a responsibility. A hug. A vet visit. A day of company. Bento was cared for until the very end.
